Media training is a critical component of everyone’s jobs and being prepared for myriad situations is key. This session will cover live videotaping, critique, feedback, best practices, and more hands-on activities.

About Jack Dunn

Jack Dunn's headshot

Jack Dunn is the associate vice president of University Communications and University spokesman at Boston College. As AVP, he oversees all aspects of communications, including news and information, media relations, social media, web development, video production, print collaterals, digital media and marketing communications for Boston College.   

Prior to joining BC in 1998, Dunn served as vice president of external affairs at Catholic Charities. A magna cum laude graduate of Boston College, Dunn received his master’s degree in public relations from Boston University. Dunn is the recipient of the St. Ignatius Award, for outstanding leadership and service, from Boston College High School, and the Ten Outstanding Young Leaders Award from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.    

He lives in Milton with his wife, Hazel, and four children: Siobhan, John, Sinead, and Brian.
